The Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress is teaming up with the Hazleton Art League, local artists and artisans, businesses, and other community partners to offer the first ever Greater Hazleton Art Trail! This is a self-guided tour of artist studios, galleries, and other creative "maker" spaces throughout the Greater Hazleton Area. Artists and artisans will exhibit different mediums, such as painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, clay, glass, paper, wood, metal, fiber, and more! All the artists/gallery owners will be on hand to show their studios, discuss their work/collections, and meet buyers and browsers alike.
Also on the trail will be recommended stops for handcrafted beer, ice cream, and other “creative consumables" to keep you happy!
The Greater Hazleton Art Trail will be open to the public on Friday, November 1, from 5-8 PM , and Saturday, November 2, from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Trail guides (passport with map and detailed information about each artist/gallery) cost $10/person and will be sent electronically (in downloadable PDF format for printing), or as a link to a mobile app that you may install on your smartphone. Alternatively, you may purchase your paper trail guide at the Hazleton Art League (225 E. Broad St.) at any time during event hours. Visitors must present their guide (paper or electronic format) at each trail stop for validation.

ARTIST/GALLERY REGISTRATION FEE
Upon notification of acceptance of your registration, you will be asked to pay a $25 registration fee. Your registration will not be finalized until your registration fee is received. When directed to do so, please choose to pay via check or credit card by clicking one of the links below.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY
In consideration of participation of activities related to events organized by the Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress, Inc., I acknowledge and agree to, on my own behalf, and on behalf of my personal representatives, heirs, assigns, executors, administrators and next of kin, as follows:
Upon allowing my premises to be accessed by visitors, I will inspect said premises, facilities, and outdoor locations associated with such event, and my acceptance of this waiver shall constitute an acknowledgement that I find and accept them to be safe and reasonably suited for their intended purpose.
I hereby release the Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress, Inc. 8 W. Broad St., Suite M-1490, Hazleton, PA 18201, and their respective directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents, contractors and their successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from and against any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury, expense, demand or cause of action that I may suffer whether with respect to personal injury, death, damage to or destruction of property, theft or otherwise, which may arise as a result of my participation in the event(s).
I will indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees, collectively and individually, from any and all losses, liabilities, damages, demands, costs and expenses that I may incur, for any reason whatsoever, which may arise as a result of my participation in the contemplated activity, and my presence in, upon or about the premises or outdoor location associated with the event.
I acknowledge that I have read this Waiver of Liability, and that I fully understand the terms of this Waiver of Liability and that I have checked the acknowledgment box freely and voluntarily without any inducement, assurance, guarantee or oral representation being made.
Registration is now open to all artists, artisans, and galleries that would like to participate in the Art Trail! Fill out the form below. Your information will be reviewed by Art Trail organizers for compatibility with event goals and objectives, which are to provide a quality visitor experience supported by a rich diversity of creative work. The geographic limits of the Art Trail will correspond to Hazleton Area School District boundaries. If your registration is accepted you will be responsible for a $25 registration fee (a link with payment instructions will be emailed to you upon notification within 48 hours of your application). Note: If you are registering as a Host Gallery you may exhibit up to two guest artists. Your guest artists must apply and be accepted by the jurors (there is no registration fee required of a Host Gallery). Registration fees will not be refunded.
