To register as a vendor for the downtown Holiday Night Market, please fill out the form below and submit your $10 registration fee, which will be used towards event marketing and advertising.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY
In consideration of being permitted to participate in activities related to events organized by the Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress, Inc., I acknowledge and agree to, on my own behalf, and on behalf of my personal representatives, heirs, assigns, executors, administrators and next of kin, as follows:
Upon entering the premises and facilities of a business, or outdoor location, associated with the event(s), I will inspect the same and my observation and use of said premises, facilities, or outdoor location shall constitute an acknowledgement that I find and accept them to be safe and reasonably suited for their intended purpose.
I hereby release the Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress, Inc. 8 W. Broad St., Suite M-1490, Hazleton, PA 18201, and their respective directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents, contractors and their successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from and against any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury, expense, demand or cause of action that I may suffer whether with respect to personal injury, death, damage to or destruction of property, theft or otherwise, which may arise as a result of my presence in, upon or about any premises associated with the event(s).
I will indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees, collectively and individually, from any and all losses, liabilities, damages, demands, costs and expenses that they may incur, for any reason whatsoever, which may arise as a result of my participation in the contemplated activity, and my presence in, upon or about the premises or outdoor location associated with the event.
I acknowledge that I have read this Waiver of Liability, and that I fully understand the terms of this Waiver of Liability and that I have checked the acknowledgment box freely and voluntarily without any inducement, assurance, guarantee or oral representation being made.
More than a dozen downtown established businesses and organizations will serve as hosts to guest vendors selling handmade items, food, and other gift items.
The future Hayden Family Center for the Arts (31 W. Broad St.) will host the Festival of Wreaths & Silent Auction. There will also be a Christmas in the Caribbean event. The evening will feature live music, food, dance, children's activites, Christmas carols, and other holiday ethnic traditions, such as aguinaldos (Latin American Christmas carols). German gluwein, mulled cider, coquito, hot cocoa, and other traditional holiday drinks will be available at several locations downtown with the purchase of a tasting mug ($5).
