THE OPEN DOOR PROJECT

What does an open door mean to you? Does it mean welcome home, open for business, or a new opportunity to pursue?

The Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress is proud to have partnered with Hazleton POWER!, the Hazleton Art League, and the Sage Exchange in sponsoring a door mural project that encouraged everyone to express their thoughts on this topic through art. A vintage, reclaimed door was the canvas.

We received 23 entries, which were displayed throughout the downtown on September 12th. Other exhibits are being planned. To view the doors online and vote for your favorites, visit our Facebook album.
